Process

01/

Discover, Clarify, Strategise

In the discovery phase, we nut out what pain points the project seeks to address and what possibilities may arise. This forms our guiding light for all decisions going forward.

02/

Research, Relationships, Stories

We research the people, the place, the relationships and the stories, developing trust and understanding along the way.

03/

Develop, Capture, Create

We develop a creative concept (or treatment) for how the story will be told, from who, where and when. Throughout production, a focus on remaining open and curious creates the conditions for new layers of meaning to evolve within the story.

04/

Distribute, Showcase, Impact

We chase PR opportunities, host screenings and market the film to target audiences. The film works with the strategic objectives of the organisation.

The Wire explores the personal stories of four retired morse code operators. As they come into the final chapter of their lives, the men reflect on what is lost in the ongoing pursuit of progress.

Core Pillars

  • In the discovery phase we nut out what pain points the project seeks to address and what possibilities may arise. This purpose dictates all decisions going forward.

  • Establishing a clear, shared understanding of the project amongst all stakeholders is essential in ensuring the authenticity and ethics of storytelling.

  • A worthwhile story speaks to relevancy and significance. Exploring this with curiosity and intention allows for a deeper truth to rise to the surface.

  • Emotional connection is what propels audiences into informed action. It builds trust, loyalty and understanding. This is where the true potential for impact lies, be it for social or commercial outcomes.
